After many months of extensive research and experience with a number of different rental lasers, WMGI has purchased three brand new lasers, each being the most effective laser in its class. During this in-depth evaluation, we spoke with many of our patients to get a thorough understanding of what they most desire. We discovered that you want clearly visible results, minimal downtime, safety, comfort, convenience, confidence, and value. We believe we can meet all of these requirements.

At WMGI, providing the utmost in quality and safety guides all of our decisions. What we recommend to our patients is what we recommend to our own families and to our "office family." As serious medical devices, lasers should only be used in a quality-driven medical office under the highest levels of care and oversight.

We are appalled, quite frankly, that these complex, highly sophisticated, and potentially dangerous devices are being used in mall stores and by offices not set up to deal with any of the medical issues related to their use. These "so called" laser centers often do nothing more than perform laser treatments on their patients, ignoring the very important needs of the skin for pre- and post-procedure care. Lasers are only one element in the quality care of skin, and should never be used as a stand-alone procedure. Having a beautiful, youthful appearance often requires the coordinated use of several different treatments - peels, micro-dermabrations, and skin care product use. Spending a lot of money on laser treatments without such a coordinated program almost always leads to disappointment.

At WMGI, we treat cosmetic skin care as a serious part of medical care, and provide comprehensive oversight for all of our patients. We enforce strict safety guidelines and require that all of our treating doctors and nurses are laser certified.
