Diagnostic Services

We offer a wide range of laboratory and medical equipment tests in our office, providing quick turn-around times for results and convenience for our patients. Our charges are similar to insurance reimbursement rates, so there is no extra cost.

Laboratory
We offer the convenience of obtaining and processing your lab tests in our office. Most of those tests can be performed in our own CLIA-certified laboratory, located on-site in our facility. This moderate complexity laboratory and is inspected and approved by the California Department of Health Services. Pathology specimens and specialty laboratory tests are sent by us to nearby, excellent laboratories.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is available in our office for a variety of different studies. In addition to pelvic and early obstetrical ultrasounds, we also perform studies on the abdomen, gall bladder, liver, kidneys and thyroid.

Bone Densitometry
The DEXAscan is the most sophisticated and accurate method available to measure bone mineral density. By determining a patient's variance from normal bone densities, we can establish the presence and degree of osteopenia and osteoporosis. We then use DEXAscans to monitor bone densities over time and determine what treatments should be prescribed.

EKG, Holter and Event Monitors
Electrocardiograms (ECG or EKG) are performed to evaluate certain cardiac conditions. When arrhythmias are a concern, we place Holter and Event Monitors to allow continuous and intermittent EKG surveillance.
