Dermal Skin Fillers and Botox Cosmetic

Happily, researchers have recently developed excellent options for those of us who would like to slow these effects of time. Several new dermal fillers are now available, replacing the old collagen material that lasted only three months and required skin testing due to frequent allergic reactions. While all of these fillers are wonderful treatments for reducing grooves and wrinkles, each one has its special uses. For example, Radiesse works great at filling in the naso-labial folds and marionette lines (grooves around the mouth area) and can last a year or longer. The two types of Juvederm (Plus and Ultra-Plus) can be used virtually anywhere on the face, but are especially well-suited for the lips and the little wrinkles above the lips. Restylane can also be used just about anywhere on the face.
Botox Cosmetic is essential in the fight against wrinkles and is a mainstay in any anti-aging, aesthetic program.
